Another instance of the ever-pre-sent danger of exposed benzine when in proximity to a lighted candle occurred in a private college in Auckland on Thursday night, the victim of a painful accident being a young school teachen on the staff of the college. She had gone with a lighted candle in her hand to the bathroom to get some water. By some mischance an uncorked bottle of benzine which was standing in the bathroom was knocked over, and the volatile spirit immediately became a mass of flame. The young lady was severely burned about the chest and neck before a passer-by, hearing her screams, rushed in and extinguished the flames. Owing to the college being about to close for vacation it was deemed better to have her removed to a private hospital for attention. She. has been painfully, burned, and, as is only to be expected, suffered severly from shock. 1 know hundreds of people who never attempt to get rid of their winter cough. "Oh, when the hot weather comes, it will go," they say; "in the meantime it is not very bad." A cold lowers the vivality of the system, and while in this weakened state you are open to develop consumption, bronchitis, and other similar ills Be advised and look after your cold; it simply means a few doses of Baxter's Lung Preserver which you can get at 1/10 bottle at your storekeeper. "My hair was acknowledged among my acquaintances to be perfect, till I by some means became afflicted with that most painful disease Eczema," writes Mrs M. Carrell, 04 Carlyle Street, Sydenham, Christchurch (N.Z.). VI ts pajinful Irritations caused me to scratch and tear at my scalp as if I was demented. Words cannot describe my mental and physical pain therefrom. I received attention from several specialists on Eczema with the usual results. It got worse, so I gave myself up as incurable, and being a young woman .you can imagine my anxiety. At last I was persuaded to try Rexona Ointment, and I have it alone to thank for my complete and thorough cure from the above most painful disease. My head is now quite free from all traces of the malady, and my hair, by the regular use of Rexona Ointment is longer, finer, and my friends say more beautiful than ever. I cannot find words good enough to express my thanks for the benefits received through using Rexona, and sincerely hope all fellow-sufferers who read this will derive the same benefits as I conscientiously think they will if they give it a trial."
