AN ADVENTUROUS TRIP.

WELLINGTON, Sept. 2,

In connection with the supposed boating fatality at Lyall Bay, the launch which was reported missing has returned last -night. The men had been to Palliser Bay fishing. They started to return on Sunday. The engine broke down while off .the heads The sea was rough and the little craft tossed dangerously about. Water got into parts of the engine totally disabling it. Fearing the launch would he swamped, those aboard jettisoned a large catch of fish which had been secured and then 'hoisted a tiny sail. After drifting about on Sunday night and all day Monday they eventually made port at a late hour.
