AUCKLAND, Sept. 2
The number of smallpox patients in the isolation hospital has been reduced to twenty-six.
Reports from the country districts are all reassuring. Waikato, Taumarunui and Te Awamutu report all clear. At Huntly there have been no new cases for six weeks.
Dr Buck reports from Kaikohe that all is well. The medical students are being districted throughout the native settlements.
