The Czar has telegraphed to Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands that he hopes the Palace of Peace will contribute to the cause he has always had at heart..
Sir Alan Johnstone, British Minister at The Hague, unveiled the bust of the late King Edward.
Mr Carnegie, in the course of a speech, said that if the Kaiser summoned a council of nations universal peace would be assured.
