NEW YORK, Aug. 25. Divers exploring the wreck of the river steamer which sank in the Mississippi near Lake Province, Louisiana, found Engineer O'Neill dead grasping the throttle. O'Neill held the vessel's nose buried in the bank until the fifty passengers had escaped safely, and then the vessel slid off into deep water and sank. O'Neill was the only victim.
