TROUBLE IN VARIOUS DIRECTIONS.
TEN THOUSAND OUT IN BUILDING TRADES. 50,000 LABOURERS FOLLOW. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 26. Ten thousand skilled workers in the building trades in London have struck. Possibly 50,000 labourers will join in the strike.
Earl Beauchamp has refused to advance the wages of labourers under the Board of Works, and has suggested arbitration. There is little chance of the men acquiescing.
