ASTROLOGER'S FORECAST.

The Rev. Howard J. H. Truscott, vicar of St. Catherine's Church, Hatcham, England, which was recently burnt down, made a remarkable statement at a recent meeting of the congregation. He said he was going to tell them something which he had not divulged before. About this time last year he received a letter from a man in Paris, an astrologer. He put the letter on his desk, but a few days afterwards he read it. At the end of the communication were the words: — "Allow me, sir, to give you a test. In May 1913, on the 6th, you will lose some thing particularly dear to you. but you will save something very dear to you. On May 24, 1913. you will receive a Royal message, and from the ISth to the 24th a prominent politician will communicate something of interest to you." The vicar remarked that he never thought anything about the letter until the day before that meeting, when he found a reference to it, and on the very day that Queen Alexandra and Mr Balfour sent him communications he found in the choir, still surrounded by wreckage, but unspotted, a book which he treasured very much indeed.
