AN AUSTRIAN AMBASSADOR RESIGNS.
VIENNA, Aug. 23. It is reported that the Austrian Ambassador at St. Petersburg has resigned.
The " Neve Freie Presse " hints that the resignation is due to his failure to report the Balkan Alliance of 1912, and his responsibility for the misunderstanding over Russian demobilisation.
