• • — A JEWEL THIEF'S TRUST DISCOVERED. WORLD-WIDE OPERATIONS. TRUST BUSY IN NEW ZEALAND. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 24. The " Daily Citizen " reports that as the outcome of the search for the missing pearl necklace valued at £150,000 (which early this month went astray in its transit between Paris and London), the English, Continental, and American police have discovered a jewel thieves' trust embracing several scientific thieves. The trust is established on a world wide basis, and New York agents 'dispose of the goods. Five pearls stolen a year ago were sold three months since in an Australian mining town. The French police believe that the trust agents have recently been busy in Wellington, New Zealand.
