FIRE CAUSED BY DAMP LIME.
INVERCARGILL, Aug. 25
A fire occurred yesterday in a boot shop owned and occupied by John McCardy, through bags of lime, which were left near the shop, getting damp. The building and stock were seriously damaged. The insurances total £3000.
