A SERIOUS CHARGE.
HOTELKEEPER ARRESTED
AUCKLAND, Aug. 22
As a sequel to the death of the man Stimpson, who died in the hospital after his removal from the Shamrock Hotel, where he had fallen downstairs and been left for some days without medical attendance, the police to-day arrested Robert Mitchell, licensee of the hotel, who is charged with having failed to supply Stimpson with the necessaries of life, whereby Stimpson's life was endangered.
Mitchea has been remanded for a week on bail of £250.
