The advantages that are enjoyed in the Marlborough Sounds as an early producing district have been well evidenced this season, says the Blenheim "Express." At Endeavour Inlet strawberries have already been gathered, and peas are forward enough to be used for the table, while potatoes are at an advanced stage. Practically no frosts have been experienced near the seashore of that locality right through the winter; at all events, the potatoes have been growing without check in this respect.
