REBELS LOSE HEAVILY.

PEKIN, Aug. 12

The rebels attacked the loyalists holding the Kinnguan stations, hut were defeated with heavy losses. Yuan-Shih-Kai (President of the Chinese Republic), has ordered the apprehension and punishment of everyone conspiring against the Republic without regard of rank or position. He has unseated six members of tne National Assembly implicated in the rebellion
