NEW ZEALAND MEAT FOR AMERICA.
The gazette notifies that official intimation has been received by the New Zealand Government from the United States Government that the system of meat inspection in force in New Zealand satisfies the requirements of that country, and that New Zealand meat will in future be admitted into the United States without further sanitary restrictions, provided that each carcass is stamped on the four quarters with indelible ink, indicating that it has passed inspection, and provided, further, that carcasses are accompanied by certificate tags endorsed by the New "Zealand inspector. The Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce of this Dominion will make the necessary arrangements to meet the United requirements, and on notification being made to it by exporters of meat to that country will specially stamp the carcass.
