INJURED BY A TRAP ACCIDENT.

AUCKLAND, June 30. An exciting trap accident occurred in' Queen Street on Saturday.

While Charles Hendry > and William fßelot were driving down Karangahape Road the horse bolted and collided ,with an electric light standard. The vehicle slewed right round, the shafts being broken and the inmates tossed lin the air, to be picked up in a batjtered condition. They were taken to the hospital. Hendry suffered severe injuries to the head. Belot had an ankle broken ; and several other injuries.
