MINISTERS AND THE LABOUR CONFERENCE.
A STAR CHAMBER INQUIRY.
SYDNEY, Feb. 8. There is intense excitement in political circles as to whether the New South Wales Minister of Labour and other members of Cabinet will submit to examination by the committee of the Political Labour Conference appointed to inquire into their attitude on certain questions. The general feeling of the conference was that members of the caucus were bound to obey the instructions of the conference. The incident is being dubbed " the heresy hunt."
