The girl Suffell, who was a friend of the young Sunday school teacher Grimes with whom the Rev. Albert Knight, vicar of Hunslet, has eloped to Australia, says that Knight long ago told her he wanted a separation from his wife. He declared he would commit suicide if Grimes declined elopement, as he couldn't stand the strain longer.
