DR. POMARE JOINS IX.

ENTHUSIASM AT FEILDING,

FEILDING, Feb. 13

A Reform rall> held here last night was attended by Messrs Massey, Herries, Lang, Bradney, Dickson, Harris, Mander, Pomare, Wilson, Buick, Guthrie, Fisher, Pearce, Bell, and Anderson. The hall was packed and great enthusiasm was displayed. Mr Massey had a great reception, and in a short speech outlined the growth of the Reform party, which dated from th' 1 elections of 1908, when its strength increased from 11 to 25, and at last election to 3S. Dr. Pomare announced that he was a "Reformer," and this was his explanation of his presence at the gathering. Mr Bradney alleged thai: at the last election a large number of seamen's votes had been removed from his electorate to Gisborne in the liquor interests.
