"Federation" has been most successful in the Show ring, having secured prizes at the leading Waikato' Shows, anad was awarded first prizes at the Auckland Show for two years in succession for the Stallion best adapted to improve the breed of saddle liorses and hunters. His Sire, "Knight of The Thistle," secured nine champion prizes at the Show, including Palmerston _ North, Wanganui and Masterton, and j secured the honour for five successive years at the New Plymouth Show.
