Wednesday, January 24, at 2 o'clock. Manganese Point. Th<> 3T. HELIER'S of WHANGAREI. A fine beach fringed with Magnificent Pohutukawas, which are a blaze of Flowers at Christmastime. It is the favorite Holiday Resort of the Whangarei people. Where the sea breeze tempers the Summer heat. Every Section has a beach frontage. The point where all Yachtsmen and Motor Launch people rendezvous. It is an ideal spot for camping or residence either in winter or summer. It is the most accessible and most charming Northern summer resort for Auckland People.

In the calm of the far North, where you enjoy perfect rest, set in a picture of unique and romantic scenery—of towering, castellated headlands, "of broad seascapes, endless beaches and sheltered bays ; an environment at once sedative, with a semi-tropic climate as soft as the Italian—tonic and rejuvenating-. With all our wealth of coastline, harbors and bays, the really acces-. sible and useable places are very limited, and for that reason will always be valuable and »ood property to buy. St. Helier's and Takapuna Beach frontages have been selling up to £8 a foot because of limited areas. Manganese Point is relatively just as good buying, as it, too, is limited, and Whangarei is destined to be a large and wealthy seaport town, and its people must have an outlet on the beautiful harbor. The preservation of the Native Bush on Manganese Point will be assured under this scheme ; and to enable everybody to secure a sec tion, the terms of payment are fixed on the easiest and most popular basis, namely io per cent cash, io •pet cent in six months, io per cent in twelve months, and the balance iin four years at 5 per cent. This i will enable people to buy on a nominal deposit, and reap the benefit o the rapidly-growing values that must follow on Whangarei's inevitable expansion. Whangarei to-day is the mosttalked»of, popular, and progressive Northern town, famed for its harbor, which is only second to the Waite--1 mata ; for its superb climate, beauti - ful orchards, picturesque scenery; its caves and hot springs ; its coal mines and kauri forests ; its large and prosperous dairy settlements ; its important railway system connecting with the Bay of Islands and Hokianga, giving access to the finest volcanic soils of the Dominion, while on the harbor itself is centred what must always be, owing to its unique advantages, the largest Portland Cement Industry of the Dominion ; and lower down the harbor are the only Freezing Works of the North. These facts in themselves point out what the future of Wha~ ngarei must be, and the municipal authorities, confident of the town's future, have arranged for every modern utility—water supply, gas service, drainage, paved streets, and a municipal theatre costing £8,000. These facts speak for themselves, and indicate that it must be a good district in which to invest a few pounds. It is the right place to go to spend a holiday, because there are a hundred ways of spending it, just as a person's inclination is bent. PLANS NOW READY.

T- Mandeno Jackson Acting upon instructions will sell by public auction at their rooms. Customs St. E., Auckland, as above, Plans may be obtained from the Auckland Farmers' Union, Ltd., and Messrs Bain & Christian, both of Whangarei, and these Firms will also arrange to buy sections at the auction sa<e on behalf of client* IF you want to cure your cousn take Tonking's Linseed Emulsion— from all chemists and stores 1/6. 2/6, 4/6 HIKURANGI AGENCY. — Mr F.
