Hazlewood's sire, Blackwood Abdailah (Imp.), sire Homer, was by that' ■ greatest of siras of famous lirood mares Mambrino Patchen, and Homer's dam was Sally Chorister, dam of Belle ' Brasfield 2.20, and Proteine 2.17, wini ners of seventy-four heats in 2.30 or better, by Mambrino Chorister. Albert Chevalier has sired many winners, including Pesta Nash, Dora, Gipsy, Eladarat, The Urchin, Valarie, Airedale, Huia Belle, Little Wonder, and has left some of the best harness horses in Taraniaki, always being • prominent in the show, ring?. Albert C has proved himself a sure foal getter, and is acknowledged by some of the best judges to be the most suitable horse for this district, having plenty of bone and substance, to say nothing of breeding on both sides.
