2000 WATCHES. TO BE GIVEN AWAY. With the object of doubling the circulation of the "Advocate" so as to increase its influence for the approaching general elections the management has decided to give away 2000 openfaced solid nickel-cased English lever watches valued at 15s each. The watches are perfect time keepers, and will last thi'ough any wear and tear for ten years. The manufacturersguarantee them for one year and will replace them during that time should ihey prove defective. The method of distribution will be that for each yearly subscription to the weekly , "Advocate" which is 14s # per year, a watch will be given and for each yearly subscription to the daily "Advocate" a watch will be given. The sub- , scriptions must be paid between May ' Ist, 1911 and October 31st, 1911. If you should want one watch pay one year's subscription, if you want two watches for your boys pay two years* subscriptions or get your neighbor to subscribe to the "Advocate." One year's subscription one watch, twoyears' subscription, two watches, and so on. As long as the subscription is paid between the months of May and October inclusive a -watch will be given. We have ordered the first instalment of 1000 watches to arrive shortly and they will be distributed in the order the subscriptions are received. The subscriptions must be paid direct to the "Advocate" office and no cash discount will be allowed. The watches carry no advertisement. They are handsome in appearance, fully jewelled and perfect time keepers. They will last years.
