The Avondale races resumed to-day, the weather having cleared up. After the rain the course is heavy. The attendance is fair.

Nursery Handicap.— Goldsize 1. Master Dix 2, Kaween 3. Scratched; Malwa, Glad Tidings, Condamine, and Seawai. Won by a length. Time: lmin 19secs.

Flying Handicap—Mighty Atom 1, Harenoa 2, Lady French 3. Scratched: Moreykoff. Won by two lengths. Time: 51secs.
