BRITISH HESITANCY,
(Received Feb. 21, 9.10 a.m.)
PARIS, Feb. 20,
"Le Temps," discussing the prospect of Canada withdrawing from the military and economic unity of the. Empire, says that loosening of AngloCanadian ties creates a bad impression, and completes the novel picture, already outlined by other traces, of an Fngland mora hesitating and lessi practical, more partisan and less national than of yore. English tradition is being lost in confusion and compromise.
