SYDNEY, Dec. 8. The report of the Medical Inspection Branch of the Education Department shows that out of 2519 scholars examined seventeen percentum were suffering from defective vision, ten percontiim from defective hearing twenty-seven per centum from nose and throat diseases, and a considerable percentage from deformities and malnutrition.

The report recommends the appointment of six assitant medical officers to examine scholars.
