Recruiting for the Canadian navy is proceeding briskly. Seventy-five per centum of the recruits offering are suffering from tobacco heart and mov-ing-picture eye.

The Liberals promise to support Sir Wilfrid Laurier's Navy Bill. There are hopeful signs that the anti-navy agitation by the French-Canadians is abating.
