Grand Stand Hack. —Succession 1, Leahora 2, Merry Frank 3. Scratched- Patrobus, Ariom, First Battery, San Lass, Coolriream, and Allurement. Led all the way i.nd won easily. Woodville Handicap.—Rauparaha 1, "Woodhey 2, Highden 3. Scratched: Koran, Clemorii, Sublime, and Notorious. A great r.-ice. Won by a length. Borough Handicap.—Flingot 1, Waipuni 2, Sea Quifeii 3. Also ran: Longner, Waikaraka, Miss Advance, Merchantman, Topnsa, Idealism, Splash, and Kilosteri. Won by a length. Welter Hack. —San Lass 1, Passive 2, Stevens 3. Also ran: Patrobus : Axiom. Rangik£>r,ua, Ultimatum, Prince Hassan, and Won by a head. Electric Handicap.—Moreykoff 1, Warsong 2, Fauuus 3. Also ran: Naumai. Gold Battery, Tigerine, and Pvirakaa. Won by a head. The totalisator turnover was £6163, against £6611 last ' year. Twelve bookmakers' fees amounted to £226.
