A TOURNAMENT SCHEME.
FUNDS FOR VETERANS' HOME
(Received Sept. 23, 5.15 a.m) LONDON, Sept. 22. The War Office has approved the tournament scheme, «\hich a num.-.r of officers have subscribed £20,000 *o initiate. It is hoped that the profits will amount to two hundred thousand sterling, which will be used to erect a veterans' home. Tiie spectacle iacludes a Balaclava charge and aviation displays.
