BRIDGE FOR MOKAU RIVER.
A deputation waited on the Minister for Public Works and urged that a bridge should be, built over the Mokau River, which is the boundary between Auckland and Taranaki provinces, where the present ferry is. The Minister said the undertaking would be a big one, involving ten or twelve thousand pounds, but he would obtain a further report upon it.
