THREE MONTHS' HARD LABOR

GISBORNE, Sept. 22

At the Supreme Court to-day, James Railton was sentenced to three months' hard labor for damaging a printing machine, the property of the "Gisborne Times" Company. He was acquitted on a charge of the theft of a portion of another machine belonging to the same office.
