ALLEGED MURDER.
OF ILLEGITIMATE CHILD
HASTINGS, Sept. 22,
In connection with the charge of murdering her illegitimate maleclffd preferred against Maria Rooney, an inquest was opened yesterday concerning the death of the infant.
After Detective Butler had given evidence as to finding the body under the house and handing it to a doctor for examination, the inquest was adjourned till Monday.
