From a Correspondent. Election of School Committee. At the annual meeting of householders, held, on the 23rd inßt for the purpose of electing a School Committee, Mr J. E. Roberts presiding, the following seven members were chosen : — Messrs J. Andrews, C. Burroughs, W. Murphy, W. B. Ramsbottom, J. E. Roberts, F. Wakelin, and R. Whitelaw. After the passing of a vote of thanks to the retiring Committee, the newly elected Committee met, and elected Mr J. E. Roberts Chairman and Mr W. B. Ramsbottom Secretary. Having arranged a plan for visiting the school and. transacted other business, the Committee concluded its first sitting.
