SMALL SHOPKEEPEKS' DEPUTATION.
Press Association- Copyright. Wellingtox, August 27. A deputation of small shopkeepers waited on the Acting Premier to ask that law be not ameuded in the direction of early closing. They stated that most of the smaller shopkeepers did the greater part of their business in the evenings, Sir J. Ward promised to give their representations every consideration.
