This colt has size, and as perfect in conformation and action as can be. All this family have been early two-year-olds. This is a fir ßt foal. He is a magnificent yearling, and the breeding of Hotchkiss and a daughter of St. Leger out of an owe sister to Strathmore, should be exceptionally good as a racer and stayer. She is own sister to Day star and Altair, both good winners-. • • Lot 15.-CHESTNUT COLT, by St. Leger, dam Lady Cureton, by Goldsbrough from Mingora,' by Yattendun from The Fly, by Fisherman from imported Marchioness, by Melbourne, winner of the Oaks. This colt is half-brother to Lord Cureton, now in training in Melbourne. Lot 16.— BROWN FILLY, by Hotchkiss, dam Brown Alice, by Nordenfeldt from Ouida, by Yattendon, dam of Strathmore. This filly is half sister to Aleger, a fast filly now in training. Lot 17.— BROWN COLT, by Hotchkies, dam Frailty, by Goldsbrough, dam of Trenton, Niagara, Mary, Cissy, Zalinski, Havoc, and Lancaster, all exceptionally good winners. This cqlt is, without doubt, the best grown and furnished of this celebrated equine family. Lot 18.-CHESTNUT COLT, by St. Leger, dam Valentina, by Leolinus from Lyre, by Patriarch from . Lyra (imp.), by Thormanby from Clothield, by Touchstone. This is a well-grown colt, with the Stockwell markings, having two crosses of the enrperor of stallions. Lot 19.— BROWN COLT, by Hotchkiss, dam Ouida, by Yattendon, dam of those great racers Artillery, Balista, Hilda, Strathmore, Hazel, and Brown Alice. This is a lovely yearling, has size, splendid* legs and feet, and immense quarters. Lot 20.— BROWN COM, by HotebJrias, dam Rose of Wellington, by St. ieger from Fleurette, by Robinsoa Crusoe from Rose of, Denmark, by Stockwell. This colt is own brother to those brilliant performers True Blue and Screwguu/ L0t21.-CHESTNUTCOLT, by. St. Leger, dam Lady Peer, by Muskapeer from Brunette by Cap-a-pie from Beauty, by imported Ravensworth from Brunette, by imported Rattan. This ib a first foal, and, from appearance, he should be a clinker. Lot 22.-CHESTNUT COLT, "by St. Leger from Forma, own Bister to Multiform and Uniform, from Formo, by Sterling worth, from Pulchra, by Rosicrucian out of the great English Formosa. This is a bie, loose made colt, with great freedom of action. ■ Lot 23. -BROWN FILLY, by St. Leger, dam Hilda, by Musket from Ouida, by Yattendou, Hilda is the dam of Autares, winner of Takapuna Cup, Sylvia Handicap, Victoria Handicap, Auckland Cup, Jockey Club Stakes ; also dam of Fulmen, winner of Kensington Stakes, Dunedin, Otago Cup, and own sister to St. Lucia. Lot 24.-CHESTNUT FILLY, by Hotchkiss, dam Agnes, by St. Leger from Lovebird (imp.), by Macaroni, has perfect symmetry, and will race early. Lot 25.— BROWN FJLLLY, by St. Leger, dam Necklace, by Musket from imported Locket, the dam of Necklet (winner of Maribyrnong Stakes), Bangle, Thunderbolt, Medallion, all good performers. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful filly Necklace has produced. Lot 26.— CHESTNUT FILLY, \y St. Leger, dam Forme, by Nordenfeldt from Formo, by Sterlingworth out of imported Pulchra, by Rosicrucian out of the great English Foraaosa. Forme, the dam, of this filly, was a great performer at all weights and distances. She is well grown, beautifully turned quarters, with sound, good legs and feet. Will not only race early, but will make a good three-year-old. Al&o her grand-dam Formo is the dam of Uniform, Forma, Multiform, all brilliant performers. Lot 27.— BAY FILLY, by Hotchkiss, dam Sapphire, by The Drummer (imp.), out of Amethyst, by Ambrose from Heroine oi Lucknow, by Nutwith from Pocahontas. This is a lovely filly with perfect action. Her dam has produced Bluefire, Mannlicher, and St. Conon, all winners, and is the first foal from Sapphire and Hotchhiss. Lot 28.— BROWN FILLY, by Hotchkiss, dam Gannet, by Anteros, from Albatross by Malta, the dam of Teksum and Merganser, both brilliant horses. Gannet is the dam of Brigand and Ruby, both winners. Lot 29.— BAY FILLY, by Castor, dam Lady Walmßley, by Musket from Mersey (imp.), by Kncwsley. Lady Walmsley is own sister to Carbine, and dam of Eton and Vascospee, both winners.
