Average quantities were pitched, on Tuesday, and met strong demand. We quote extra stout ox hides 5d to 5f d per lb stout 5d to s£d ; medium 3d to 3£d ; steer 2£d to 2£d ; coir in good condition 2d to 2£d ; sloppy steer and cow ljdtolfd; stags Id to l£d ; calfskins 3d to 3£d per lb; •bones £3 15/ to £4 5/ per ton ; tallow 17/6 to 19/6 per cwt. ; rough fat 13/4 per lb ; sheep skins local green' 3/4 to 4/10 each ; country dry 1/ff to 2/5 each ; wool fleece 6d to 6£d per lb. Sheep were penned in average numbers, the bidding was steady throughouttheauction, wethers fetched from 12/ to 17/9 each ; &wea 10/ to 13/3; lambs 7/ to 9/6 each; Rgg were scarce and the demand brisk at 3£d per lb live weight.
