Abraham Lincoln, the famous United States President, was born February 12th, 1809, and John Earlo & Co., the celebrated Tea Merchants, of 207 QueenBtreet, Auckland, started business in 1880. In 1616, Win. Harvey, an English physician, discovered the circulation of the blood, and since 1880, John Earle & Co. of 207 Queen-street, Auckland, have been supplying the public with their Pure Blended Teas, and so improving the tone and increasing the quantity of the blood thus circulated. Sir Isaac Newton discovered the power of gravity in 1666, and some time afterwards one of the most useful discoveries of the age was made by John Earle & Co., of 207 Queen-street, Auckland, who invented and patented an ingenius' mechanical contrivance by means of which they can prepare their celebrated Pure Blended Teas at the rate of twelve hundred pounds weight per hour.
