At a meeting oi the Selection Committee, held yesterday. •• the following team was chosen to go intc practice for the forthcoming match. Fullback, R. B. Lusk ; threequarters, K. Masefield, T. Brown, and P. Mackie ; halves, H. Stevenson, A. Braund, H, Herrold; forwards, T. O'Connor, O, "Wells, C. Marshall, W. Hobson, R. Crowe. R. McKenzie, J. Lecky, H. Poland; emergencies, F. Twinane, P, Gould, A. Stewart, T. Ryan. The team is an excellent selection, and is as strong a one as could, be placed in the field Training is to begin at once, and if the players named above all come fit and well to the field on the day of the match, Auckland can rest assured that hei football laurels are in good hands.
