CALVERT V. SCOTT.
i Auckland, Thursday. i Ix the Supreme Court on Tuesday the case Calvert v. Scott, Mr Hesketh appeared for plaintiff, and moved for a writ of injunction to issue against Mary Letitia Scott. Tho ] action was brought by Calvert, as trustee of A. Scott, draper, Whangarei, whose business Messrs OVen and Graham had recently taken over. It was found that some were in the banks in the name of Mrs Scott, which had been banked dunng the last 12 months, when defendant wa^ not in business, the husband only earning £3 a week, during which time larffe deficiencies . • were. shown in his business: •, Plaintiff now applied for the 'issue of a wri'/ of injunction to prevent defenrkjnt withdrawing this money>n-iT > l' the case in reference to the defijetency and this money has been trijpd. .
