THE QUESTION OF MAIL ROUTES.
Auckland, Thursday. At a meeting of the Chamber of ; Commerce yesterday the following resolutions were unanimously adopted;: "That this Chamber having considered the various mail routes from ; New Zealand to London, is convinced that the one via San Francisco is i financially the most economical, and < performed in the shortest time." i "That this service is the most useful ; to the colony as a whole, and should not be discontinued except tor one which will still further time of transit. . tfIHHHH
