All Iprses to take their age from the first August No eitries will be received for any race except oi this condition: that all disputes, claims,' and objections shall be decided by majority of the Stewards nresent, orivhom they may appoint. Their 3ecision or all points concerning the carrying out of this prtgramme shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposL of 1 soy., which sum shall be forfeited to the funda if the protest be deemed frivilous. Any Jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 3 soys. Wlen two or more horses start belonging to the sune owner, a distinguishing colour mußt be w<rn. The attention of owners is particularly tolled to this rule. No entry will be received, on any pretence whatever, after the hour named, nor without beinf accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. ' Al persons intending to withdraw horses are reqiired to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of Scales, one hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to c»mply with this rule shall pay a fine not exceeding 5 soys. to the funds. Al entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secntary, Whangarei : entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colour of the rider.
