In the kauri giun market very few buyers, and prices for all qualities unsettled. Stdcks of East Coast continue to accumulate by buyers. Supjplies of all qualities for* November, about 532 tons. We quote, nominally, fair ordinary 37/, best ordinary 38/ to 39/, East Coast (no transactions) 52/. Maize slightly -weaker ; sales at 3/5 to 3/6 for parcels on wharf. Oats at 2/2 to 2/4. Wheat 3/9 to 3/10. New potatoes £6 10/ to £7 per ton. Onions unobtainable at any price, and in very strong demand. Old potatoes enquired for ; very few obtainable.
