FRENCH PEESIDENCY.
London, November 19. In the event of M. Grevy resigning the Presidency of Prance, the following are likely to become candidates for the position : M. Jules Ferry, M. de Preycinet, M. Carnot, and General Saussier. Paris, November 19. The French journals are generally united in urging the President to resign, but M. Grevy has declared his intention of retaining office for the full term of his Presidency, believing it would be unconstitutional for a President to yield to the pressure of Parliament.
