THE FRONTIER AFFAIR.
London, October 2. The Emperor of Germany has ordered the release of M. Schnaebele, and the payment of compensation to the widow of the gamekeeper shot on the frontier. The man who shot the French gamekeeper will probably be court-mar-tialled, and Germany will pay the widow 25,000. francs.
