Supplies for last month at lowest computation 533 tons, and five days; of October, about 57 tons. We quote fair ordinary, 38/ to 39/ ; best ordinary, 40/; and East Coast (nominal), 52/ to 54/. Maize scarcely so firm since the. advice of a fall in Sydney. We quote on wharf, 3/3 ; oats, 2/3 to 2/4 ; wheat, 3/11 to 4/1 ; potatoes, 35/ to 45/, for wholesale parcels ; firmer for Canterbury. ..-.*■ flour. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cows were numerous, those of firßtclass quality in fair enquiry, others dull of sale. Store cattle in full number. Grown cattle maintained fair value ; but yearlings and two-year-old cattle at low prices. Fat cattle in average number and better worth, prices ranged from 18/ to 20/ per 100 lbs. T_._-_.all calves,- gold well, but larger calves were neglected. Fat sheep were yarded in full number and maintained late values; fat lambs abundant, of best quality 2/ each lower than last week, of inferior quality from 4/ each. Lambs ought not to be sent any distance that will kill less than about 35 lbs. Pigs in short supply, but sold well.
