M r)argafi_le^oT==^,-the Httie bill being as follows : For services rendered at tho City West Mectios^lSiS^^^nd acting as scrutineer at same, £10. By cash on account, por .A. G.lover/£5 ; Balance due £5. Hodge deposed that in July, 1834 he was in Auckland -Hotel with. Dargayille and Glover. Dargaville asked^Glover whether he could get him a .good scrutineer and said he would not- mind giving £10 for a good, man. Glover said witness would make' a good Ibrutineer, and he engaged him accordingly. Glover deposed £5 was sufficient payment, and Hodge was therefore non-suited in the case.
