The newspaper strike in Perth has ended, and the mson have resumed work for a period of 12 mon:hs on terms identical with the old award. The proprietors have undertaken, to pay for services rendered up to thecessation o£ work and t o honour the rights and privileges of the men. The•proprietors of the "Daily News" a£ first declined to accept the terms arranged, but it is now reported that they have agreed to tho same conditions as the other proprietors, bnt with a slight saving clause regarding the Arbitration Court.
