CURRANT SHRUB. Waeh the currants, put them into n pan over the fire, mash and cook them until well heated. Then strain them, and add one pound of sugar to every quart of juice. Boil juice and sugar together tor fifteen minutes, skim and then pour into bottles, corking and sealing theco as tightly as possible.
