A Woman's Letter Two N.Z. shorthand-typists now in U.S.A. write interestingly of their travels as follows: "Wβ are made a great deal of here by the Americans, and are in danger of having our heads swelled. Have met a number of the business men of Seattle, and all are very interested in hearing about Now Zealand. I guess the N.Z. Government ought to pay some of our oxs. the way wo boost their old land this v.ay. Some of the remarks wo hear on N.Z. are quite amusing. One- American asked mc, "Were the people of N.Z. ferocious?" I said wo were samples, and they could judge. Another said to mo, "You come from N.Z.? Say, kid, but you have caught an to our language quickly." I said, "Yes, seeing its the only ono I know." Then some think that N.Z. is just the main city of Australia. Fierce, isn't it? There is a great deal hore I could tell you of, everything is so different. Americans live, eat, and do things very
