Tho. last,of tho scries was hold on,tho 12th iust., and provided a fitting wind-up. There was a, good attendance of mombcrs and friends, and all enjoyed themselves thoroughly till a late hour. lv-, torsper'sed with dancing tho following musical programme was gone through: Songs, by Miss .Abel, Mrs. Cook, and Mr. H. Maud (2); clarionet solo, Mr.. H. Cook;"violin solos, Mr. W; Dunning (2); banjo solo,, Mr. Goer; dances by Miss Main (sword danco and .Highland fling), appropriate pipe music being rendered by. Pipe-Major Frascr, Mr. A- Williams, presided at tho piano, aud Mr. Dunning, wag acceptable aid. with tho Violin... Mr. Abel made a capable and courteous M.C. Refreshments wero. dispensed during tho evening. The nest social activity of thoj'Engineers will tako tbo form of a picnic, timo aud place yet to be used. Full particulars will bo given'members and friends, and - a hearty invitation is accorded to all to join in the outing.
