There are 15 perches in the area, with a frontage of approximately 25 feet to Princes street and a depth of 165 feet. On the property is a two storey building and a basement, and the ground floor is occirpied by Bells, Ltd., who have a tenancy with still two years to run. The sale has been made to a. resident of Christchurch. The price paid works out roughly at £IOOO per foot frontage, which is indicative of the value of property in the main streets of the city.
